Natural Births Don’t Always Go According To Plan

We are given children as a gift from God. It serves as the connection between love and family. For moms, the nine months and ten days of pregnancy are a very trying time and a long road.

The journey’s end requires both infinite love and work. Birth can occasionally proceed considerably differently than we had anticipated. Even to low risk families, transfers (both during and after birth) do occur. But frequently, the manner in which a transfer takes place can significantly alter the experience of the birthing family.

At a standalone birth facility, one mom gave birth to her second child fairly quickly. She grew from 3 to 10 cm in less than two hours. …and the baby started to crown as soon as her water ruptured. Dad assisted in catching his second son, but the team quickly saw he was struggling with the change.

At the place of secondary birth has been of great help. But they felt the baby needed more support, so they called 911 for help. The ambulance crew showed up promptly. And we had an efficient and relatively peaceful transfer to Children’s hospital.

After being transferred to the hospital, the baby was kept in the NICU for a few days to get better. But then the baby was able to go home to the family in a healthy and normal condition.

Through the above case to see, it is not good to have a quick birth. But there are many more factors needed to ensure the safety of both mother and child. Normal birth doesn’t always go according to known plans. So when you know you have a baby and prepare mentally for situations on the journey to welcome your baby to be born.

Sometimes we should also learn about difficult cases like these, to feel less alone on the journey to meet our children. And strong to step through the complex things ahead.
