This Mom’s Before And After Quadruplets Photo Is Truly Incredible

New Jersey parents Syman and Lindsay Hay have their hands full with five children under 5 years of age.

Their son Carson is 4 years old, and their quadruplets — Caiden Michael, Madison Grace, Lucas William, and Grayson James — are 7 months old.

When she and her husband first found out they were having quadruplets, they were in complete sho𝑐𝑘. “I was in a lot of denials because I was told I had poor egg quality, and I just couldn’t believe it.”

Lindsay 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑑  the quadruplets after sᴜfferring several mis𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖ages. She said she had a “mis𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖age mindset,” explaining that, even after conceiving again, she was still not fully convinced she was going to be able to meet her babies. “You carry the ᴘᴀɪɴ of mis𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖age with you wherever you go, and even after being on the other side with my rainbow babies here, it still ʜᴜʀᴛs. I don’t think I’ll ever be completely healed. It has, however, made me stronger and given me a new perspective and respect for how incredible these infants, and all babies, are.”

Before she welcomed her quadruplets, Lindsay experienced secondary 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦, so her story carries even more importance for women who’ve ᴇɴᴅᴜʀᴇd similar troubles. “I was struggling with secondary 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 and loss,” she told POPSUGAR. “I would cling to other people’s stories for hope. When I finally made it to the other side with not one baby, but four, I knew my experience would serve as hope for others. It’s a reminder that you never really know what’s waiting for you.”

“I carried these sweet babies for 30 weeks and 4 days on the inside and here they are at 30 weeks and 4 days on the outside!” she captioned the before and after snaps. “Full hands, full heart is an understatement! They have surpassed every hope and dream I had envisioned during my pregnancy and even though time is passing quickly I know the best is yet to be. Behind these babies are new marks, rolls, and skin you can’t see but they also came with new strengths I didn’t have before either. We have been so BLESSED and I won’t ever let myself take this life for granted.”

Lindsay said, “The day my doctor said it was time was probably the first time I truly believed they’d be mine. There’s really no comparing it to my singleton pregnancy. With Carson, I was blissfully unaware of all that could go wrong and enjoyed every moment.”

As expected, many of Lindsay’s followers were quick to congratulate her on bringing four healthy babies into the world. “You are a goddess! So cool!!!!” wrote one woman. “You inspire me and your little bundles are just everything!” Another chimed in with a similar positive sentiment: “The female body is amazing. Congratulations on your beautiful healthy babies.”

Lindsay’s life has obviously become a lot more hectic! “I hardly ever get a moment to myself. I’m always on the move, and I’ve learned to multitask and move swiftly. I’m getting less sleep. I’m more concerned. But I’ll say this: the phrase “larger hands, fuller hearts” has never rung truer for me. I’m ecstatic with joy and contentment, and I wake up every day wondering how I got so blessed. I’ve gotten all I wished for and then some. We are really fortunate.”
