TikTok star, Stephanie Hansen, 32, has revealed she welcomed three babies within 12 months and none of them are triplets.
Stephanie Hansen, 32, welcomed her first daughter, Daphne, on January 28, 2020.
Just three months later, she was shocked to discover that she was pregnant again, and on December 8 — just over ten months after giving birth the first time — she welcomed twin daughters Rubie and Penelope.
Women typically begin ovulating again around 45 days after giving birth, and Stephanie decided to take a pregnancy test before going on birth control after having her baby, and was shocked by the results.
Discovering she was already three weeks along, she said: “I was in a newborn fog, and [then] there was the excitement of this new relationship. I was just adjusting to everything.
“I felt awful that she wouldn’t have one-on-one time with me anymore. There was definitely some initial sadness.”
Daphne greeted the twins warmly and wanted to cuddle them right away when she took them home to meet their big sister.
Over a year later, the three sisters are as close as can be, even sharing a room.
Hansen documents their life on TikTok, where she’s discussed having a good co-parenting relationship with the twins’ father, whom she is no longer dating.
‘It’s not always easy,’ she said. ‘But I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life. These kids are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.’
Despite the fact that Hansen and the twins’ father are no longer romantically connected, she revealed that they continue to co-parent together. “When we broke up I was devastated,” she confessed. “But I said to myself, ‘I’ve got this. We’re not going to sit around in our pajamas crying. We can sink or swim.’”
And Hansen, being a strong woman, chose to swim. “It’s not always easy,” she said. “But I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life. These kids are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
She explained that both she and her “baby daddy” are dedicated to “raising happy children” and joking that they are on the “same team” despite living in “different homes.”
