I’ve heard about twins having a special bond, but how about “twin cousins”?
Despite not having shared the same womb, Ryatt Raegan and Indie Mae are as close as any twin siblings are capable of being.
The adorable little girls recently turned a year old. On August 10, 2016, Corey Struve Talbott and her husband Travis had a baby boy named Ryatt. Katie Struve Morgan, Corey’s sister, gave birth to her own daughter, Indie, on the same day.
But Katie and Corey’s story actually began months before. After photographer Brenden Boggs of So Cute Photography shared their creative maternity shoot, the story of their “twin cousins” rapidly went viral.

In 2016, Corey and Katie were both expecting, which is essentially the fulfillment of every pregnant woman’s wish for a “pregnancy buddy” to share the highs and lows with.
To top it off, the sisters were both having girls — and were due just two weeks apart!
Brenden Boggs was hired by Corey and Katie to conduct a unique photo shoot in advance of their due dates. They posed for pictures while sporting flower crowns and showing off their “twin” bumps.
Amazingly, Corey delivered early. By sheer coincidence, both babies were born on the same day: August 10, 2016.
In fact, the sisters gave birth just 20 minutes apart — and the same doctor delivered both babies! Talk about multitasking.
To celebrate the “twin cousins” and their special bond, Brenden Boggs was hired by Corey and Katie to conduct a unique photo shoot in advance of their due dates. They posed for pictures while sporting flower crowns and showing off their “twin” bumps.
Brenden shared the maternity and birthday photos with Love What Matters, explaining the story behind the photo shoots.
Brenden writes: “I photographed Corey and Katie’s maternity photos last year. I thought it was so sweet that two sisters got to experience such a special time together.
Despite having somewhat different due dates, both women gave birth on the same day only 20 minutes apart!
They are twin cousins, as we all jokingly say! It was time for the baby girl’s first birthday photo session after a year had passed.
Corey and Katie agreed with my assessment of how lovely it would be to recreate the prenatal session.”
Corey said: “We had the flower crowns remade and pulled out the dresses. We coordinated the babies and it was magical. A very emotional day, and it was hard to realize a year had passed. We have raised the babies to be identical twins because we are so close. They are inseparable and carry out everything together.”
The “twin cousins” have now picked up quite a large following on Instagram, where their moms share more adorable photos of the little girls.
Since Corey and Katie’s tale first appeared online, their images have been shared a ton, and it’s easy to understand why.
