A woman who was pregnant with triplets has got a load of attention online after sharing the progress of her shockingly large baby bump.
After a Danish mother was welcoming twins in 2018, Michella Meier-Morsi and Mark Morsi thought they were done having kids. But life had other plans for the Danish couple.
Michella Meier-Morsi, from Copenhagen, Denmark, documented her journey on Instagram by sharing images of her bump, which began growing ‘straight out’ rather than ‘up and down’.
The baby bump also turned purple and was covered in bruises in the weeks before the birth of her three babies.
Charles, Theodore, and Gabriel are triplets that Michella Meier-Morsi recently gave birth to through cesarean section. Because it took place at just over 35 weeks of her pregnancy, the delivery was considered “unique”.
For a while, she was scared about having a C-section. But the thought of taking her family of four to seven gave he immense joy and happiness. Fortunately, the delivery was successful and Michella became is now a mother of five.
After the mother shared pictures of her triplets on social media, the post was inundated with congratulatory comments and likes.
Since the stomach often goes up and down during pregnancy, people started focusing on Michella’s stomach as soon as she shared the images of her growing baby bump.
She went viral after showing off her 35-week baby bump, which many people thought was unreal. She flaunted her baby bump in one video, even holding it up with her hands.
A photo in which she showed off her post-birth belly has also garnered over 40,000 likes.
“But here it is – my huge pregnancy belly 10 days after the birth. It will be exciting and nerve-wracking to see how my body plans to heal,” she wrote.
Despite the trauma, Michella said it was ‘worth it’ and that her heart was ‘bursting with happiness and love.’
“There is emptiness in my stomach, but my heart and my arms have never been so full of love and happiness,’ she gushed.”
“The boys are absolutely amazing! That’s how easy it can be summed up. They are mild and mega cool and we are completely in love. It’s hardly any surprise that we are in the most wonderful baby bubble.”
Michella later revealed on Instagram that, while her tummy had shrunk dramatically, she was still having trouble with her postpartum physique.
