Jolee Lavergne Addison decided it was time for her to enter the world on Friday while Mike Anthony Addison was taking Rudy Napier to what was to be her last check-up with all three of their kids in the backseat. Mike Anthony Addison was captured on camera giving birth to her fourth child in the front seat of car while being driven to the hospital, in a video recorded by her young son.
Mike’s father decided to publish the video on Facebook after seeing it reappear later, and the post has since received nearly nine million views. When the family arrived for the visit, the couple’s 10-year-old son, Jayden, was charged with filming his unborn sister’s prenatal video. However, her birth was eventually caught on camera.
Mike shared the video after going through the recording and described the whole ordeal as a ‘beautiful nightmare. The video, which is only four and a half minutes long, shows the situation escalating as Jayden still stands in front of the camera. Mike put his hand on Rudy’s leg to try to comfort her as he drove with his other arm. Rudy’s husband is trying to drive her safely and quickly to Henderson Hospital. Rudy said to her husband: “Mike the baby is coming, Mike the baby is coming”
When Mike asked his elder children if they had any comments, Jayden joked, “Hurry up,” as the camera panned back to his face. While one of his sisters sat peacefully throughout the commotion, the other sister, seated next to him in the rear, was unable to speak and had tears flowing down her cheeks.
After the incident, Rudy recalled that her husband had asked her, “Can you keep it? But that was impractical.
She described the time she felt she had to push as “I couldn’t take it anymore,” adding that this is when she initially burst out. She recalled the moment she felt she had to push as “I couldn’t take it anymore,” adding that this was the moment she initially exploded. Rudy recalled that her husband had asked her, “Can you keep it?
“I just wanted to take a moment to thank EVERYONE at Henderson Hospital for all the fast assistance and kindness they provided us throughout the entire process.”
When Mike discovered he had 150,000 alerts after posting the amazing moment to Facebook, he said he smiled and wondered, “What did I just do?”
Both mother Rudy and baby Jolee were given a clean bill of health and are now at home adjusting to life with the entire family of six.
