In just 11 months, a 30-year-old Welsh mother has given birth to four children; no, they are not quadruplets. Although it would be wonderful if her young daughter Mya had siblings her own age to play with, Becky John of Swansea chose to conceive a second child with her partner Jason Evans. John, who had already given birth to Mya in February 2016, found out she was expecting three children barely a week later. When visitors stopped to see the four of kids, Ms. Johns, who lives with her partner Jason Evans, said: “They couldn’t believe I had given birth to four children in less than a year.”
I was stunned to learn I was expecting triplets since it seemed impossible to believe. I had to keep my eyes glued to the screen to be certain. I also track each heartbeat. John informed Barcroft that she was definitely expecting triplets and added that none of her friends had accepted her claim. “They were all naturally conceived and each of them came from a different egg, which is quite uncommon. They all have placentas, therefore there is no risk involved with any of them sharing a placenta, the doctors informed us it was the healthiest way to give birth to triplets,” continued John.
Miss John’s pregnancy passed without a hitch, and she regularly gets ultrasounds to ensure the twins are developing normally. We gave them the names Snap, Crackle, and Pop, she remarked. Feeling them all move is delightful. Since we had no idea, Jason gave them nicknames because people were asking us what they were going to be called. Raya weighs 4 lbs 3 oz, Phoebe weighs 4 lbs 11 oz, and Ryan is a healthy 4 lbs 12 oz.
John told Barcroft: ‘At the time I was too big and barely able to move and the doctors wanted to take them out in case I went into early labor. “I was carrying almost 15 pounds of babies. I can not believe it. But I’m very relieved that they are all healthy and normal,” she added. John worries about how she will deal with so many children, but she is overjoyed with her new arrivals. “Kayla is overjoyed with her three new siblings and it’s amazing to think that Mya and the trio will grow up together,” added John.
