Kasie Hunt, a CNN host, disclosed her intention to deliver her kid through cesarean section. It appears that the infant has other ideas! Giving birth is usually a joyous occasion, but not all pregnant women have the chance to do so, and many of them never even make it to the maternity ward. This is exactly what occurred to CNN host Kasie Hunt when she gave birth to her second child, a baby girl called Grey, on the bathroom floor, as she described in an Instagram post.
The birth of their second child, Gray Hunt Rivera, was announced in an Instagram post on March 3 by the head of national affairs analysis at CNN. On People.com, her daughter was born on March 1. 3-year-old Mars Hunt is another child that Hunt and her husband, Matthew Mario Rivera, have together. Although she had scheduled a cesarean section, as she detailed in the essay, her small daughter obviously had other ideas. Kasie only had 13 minutes of labor before she realized she wouldn’t have time to get to the hospital. As a result, she gave birth on the bathroom floor, with her father helping to deliver the child.
“My husband, @mattmrivera and I are so excited to introduce our daughter, Gray Hunt Rivera, even though really, she introduced herself. Gray was delivered by her midwife on the bathroom floor after 13 minutes. labor, before we even had time to call 911, and 24 hours before she was scheduled to arrive in block C,” the emotional mother wrote.
“We are so grateful to the @dcfireandems team who spoke to us about the extremely stressful moments before she took her first breath and who came within minutes to get the mother and baby to the hospital safely. whole,” Hunt wrote in his post. We couldn’t be prouder, and we couldn’t be more excited for life as a family of four.”
She acknowledged that it had been a fairly simple delivery, and both she and her kid are doing well.
