You had an emergency birth. Three months after their birth, they finally made their first trip home from the hospital with their parents, Rachel, 31, and Ashley, 29. She and her husband Ashley Udell were unable to even purchase their sons Christmas presents a year ago because of how much they loved him. Max, however, was born weighing 1 lb 4 oz and now weighs 12 lb 13 oz. His identical twin Lucas increased in weight from 1 lb 6 oz to 15 lb 6 oz, while his brother Harvey increased in weight from 1 lb 6 oz to 16 lb.
Rachael said, “I am so proud of my young soldiers,” yesterday. After their birth, they experienced a great deal. I’m very grateful that they are all here with me today. They are wonderful boys. After a day of taking care of three hyperactive children, she used to enjoy going out on the town with Ashley, but now days all she wants to do is fall on the couch and watch her favorite Emmerdale episode. Rachael said: “I have very little time to myself. We hardly leave the house. I spend most of my time in my old sports shorts and t-shirts with no makeup on. But I will never complain. I love my boys more than anything.
In March, Alexis welcomed her twins, Camila and Elena, who weighed a rather small 6lb 7oz at birth. They are now seven months old and have weighed up to 21 lbs each. Within seven months, the twins tripled their birth weight. Now, at almost 7 months old, the cute babies have tripled their birth weight at almost 21 lbs each. “They seem to really enjoy trying new foods,” says Alexis. Whenever I’m eating something, they always stare at me like they’re waiting for me to give them some.” Alexis was ecstatic when she found out she was pregnant with fiance Leo Mejia, 23, when she was 21. She continued: “My only life ambition was to be a mother, so I was overjoyed when that became a reality.
When I was six weeks pregnant, I had my first ultrasound, and we were able to see two little sacs on the screen. I was very astonished to learn that our family didn’t have any twins, but I was also happy. “In the twin community, it’s fairly usual to expect infants weighing around 5 lbs. or less,” the stay-at-home mother continued. Funny thing is, I didn’t give the video any thought when I posted it.
