Cancer Survivor Welcomes ‘Miracle’ Baby, Born at 2:22 A.M. On 2/22/2022 — In Room No. 2!

This is one of those birth stories that will have you asking yourself, “What are the odds?” A North Carolina couple is feeling especially blessed this week, after welcoming their new baby into the world on the now-infamous date of “Twosday” (aka 2/22/2022).

But that’s not the only cool part about their little girl’s birthday. Judah Grace, according to Aberli and Hank Spear, was born on February 22, 2022, at precisely 2:22 a.m. She even made her spectacular entry in Delivery Room No. 2!

According to the hospital, new mama Aberli Spear is a survivor of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system that inhibits the body’s ability to fight off infection.

As part of her recovery, she underwent rigorous cancer treatments that ultimately impacted her fertility and left her chances of having a successful pregnancy “unlikely.” Chemotherapy and radiation, the typical treatments for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, can cause permanent fertility changes.

The hospital shared the exciting news on Facebook later that day, explaining why Judah was an especially lucky baby for her parents.

According to Cone Health, Baby Judah was “an answered prayer” for the Spears, whose journey to parenthood was far from easy.

Aberli Spear WFMY-TV that though her daughter’s time and day of birth is pretty awesome, it wasn’t at the center of her mind while delivering her.
