Yehuda and Maya expressed their excitement at the prospect of becoming parents. They informed us, “We’re experiencing a whole new spectrum of emotions and experiences we didn’t know existed.” The voyage exposed new aspects of their characters, not all of which are favorable. “We have a lot of disputes as well,” the pair said, “but we learn from them.”
After the baby was born, Yehuda and Maya had no option but to change their priorities: “There is no more couple, no more team at work… only Ariel.” In fact, the couple now works in shifts and is living under a new schedule. “It’s a new life and we’re getting used to it. But not in a bad way. This experience is going to create a new and better us.”
Maya is an artist herself and collaborates with her husband on the series. “Usually after something interesting … happens to us, we tighten the concept and do a few composition sketches,” Yehuda explained once. “After that, I sit down and start working. When I finish, Maya adds her suggestions for improvement, suggesting color, typography, and so on. All of this process takes no more than a day.”
