While many babies are born with fine hair, a head full of hair, or a bald head, it is not the case with Boston – a baby born in Australia. In just four months, Boston has taken social media by storm. People can get enough of his luxurious hairstyle.
Tara Simich, a mother of two, says that her second son’s huge mop of hair causes quite a stir wherever he goes, most people are completely bewildered by it. “Most people are in complete shock because he’s so little, they can’t believe the hair is his. But it is.”
She said he’s always had an impressive amount of hair after arriving into the world a healthy 3.8kg in December 2019 — complete with his signature quiff.
When he was born, Tara quipped: “He has hair exactly like his dad’s.”
Since then his locks have continued to grow, with Tara has posted a photo chronicling his progress over more than eight weeks.
Mum Tara Simich shared a series of incredible photos of her son on 𝐼𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑚 where his impressive chestnut tresses have won the little lad a following.
“We literally get stopped by everyone,” Tara said. “And whenever someone is walking behind me, I hear ‘look at that baby’s hair.
Although he looks like he just crawled out of a salon, Boston’s brilliant bouffant stands to attention without any need for blow-drying.
But it does require daily shampoo and conditioning, to avoid oily locks.
Not surprisingly, Boston was born with a full head of hair.
“My friends and family and even the midwife thought he looked like a little troll because he has pointy hair,” Tara said.
“From the second I walked out of the hospital, it was just crazy.
“Everyone was staring.
“And then I realized it is quite unique because he’s just normal looking to me.”
The 28-year-old mother-of-two said she now believed the old wives’ tale that carrying a baby with lots of hair caused heartburn.
“I had shocking heartburn, which I never had with my other son Jagger,” she said.
Boston has attracted endorsement offers for children’s clothing and lactation biscuits since his hair-raising photos appeared on 𝐼𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑚.
He has also been approached by photographic businesses and a modeling agency.
The adorable baby handled his photoshoot like a pro, without as much as a whimper.
“He’s the most chilled, happy, and placid baby from birth,” Tara said.
“I think all the good sleep he gets helps his hair grow.”
